The roots of Antiba’s History are in the 1950s with Mario Balducci, one of the founders of the ARNO Group, in the leather district of Santa Croce sull’Arno, renowned for its centuries-old tanning tradition.
His sons, Graziano and Paolo, having grown up with the innovative concepts of the family enterprise, decided to continue this tanning tradition. This is how Antiba was born, for the design, production and marketing of chrome and vegetable-tanned bovine, sheep or goat hides, for footwear and leather items.

 
 

Now, having become a world leader for vegetable-tanned goat hide, Antiba SpA has made a name for itself in the Luxury sector worldwide, thanks to its all-Italian ability to merge a centuries-old culture with the most determined drive towards the future in a harmonious and sustainable way, thus legitimising innovation in tradition.
Antiba has thus become a dynamic group of companies, with a deeply rooted heritage of experience and skills, enabling it to face significant challenges on international markets.

Every item produced by Antiba has its own passport, an identity card which describes in detail the origin of raw materials as well as the type of processing, methods and ancillary products used to achieve that result.
